Fireflies flying through the weekly gig at Tryst coffee house in DC, fairies coming to life within his family, and deep sea reflections as the album cover photo was shot en route to Wytold’s first Pöhaku residency in Maui with Christopher K. Morgan & Artists.
This 2016 album features performances by members of the Wytold Ensemble throughout: Jerry Tolk on banjo, Ethan Foote on bass, Chelle Fulk on violin, and Gina Sobel on flutes and saxophone. The group collaborations vastly enhanced the explorations of magic throughout these recordings.
