Visual artist and Veteran Joe Merritt is a colleague of Wytold’s in the Arts program at DC military hospitals, and the two regularly lead workshops for Service Members discussing the relationship between art and music.  In addition, Joe and Wytold have given several collaborative performances in the DC area and eastern shore of Maryland in which Joe paints live in response to Wytold’s live music.  Joe is also a poet featured in the HBO Documentary Film “We Are Not Done Yet“, and Wytold has performed musical accompaniment for Joe’s spoken word on many occasions.
